A surgical navigation system with accessories, the NAV 3 version, will provide the highest standard of equipment for the Zhukovsky City Hospital.
The navigation system is used for surgical interventions requiring increased accuracy, in particular, when removing deep malignant and benign brain tumors, allows for the precise installation of invasive deep electrodes for the diagnosis of an epileptogenic focus, biopsy of deep localization neoplasms. Patients with stroke, vascular intracranial pathology, hydrocephalus, brain abscesses and other brain diseases are also operated on using neuronavigation.
